Though our life together has looked more like a roller coaster ride than smooth sailing, I do believe that we have been blessed. We were lucky enough to buy a home before housing prices doubled and had an excellent Realtor who protected our interests and made sure we weren't one of the people who ended up in one of those horrible loans we keep hearing about. It's been a tight squeeze since our son came along, but we're a cozy family. Our son is amazingly smart and (thankfully) very healthy, talented, with a wonderful sense of humor, and just started kindergarten. He continues to surprise and delight us every day. No matter how rough things get, when you look at the world through the eyes of a child it is all made so much easier and simpler and clearer. The tough stuff gets easier to handle so long as I know I get to hold his hand each day... Thank you, Mary Ann.
